TECHNOLOGY DUO TO EXPAND PRIVATE IT SOLUTIONS FIRM EXEBRIDGE
Kimberly Hieber’s acquisition repositions Exebridge as “Your Technology Wingman”
HOUSTON, TEXAS (Feb. 3, 2017) -- Exebridge, a full service provider of technology solutions, today announced that Kimberly Hieber, president of LinkSpur, has acquired a majority stake position in the private company. Hieber’s purchase will bring renewed vitality to the 20 year-old company, emphasizing customer service and deepening the strength of its sales and engineering teams.
“Exebridge’s close-knit team of employees is what sold me on this company,” said Hieber. “I’ve never encountered a team so completely committed to having one another’s back, and so willing to do whatever’s necessary to make their customers successful. We’ll continue to build on that strong customer service, emphasizing our role as your technology wingman.”
As Exebridge’s new CEO, Kimberly Hieber brings on board husband Michael Hieber as president. Together, the two have more than 40 years of technology experience. Mark Pruitt will continue in his role of COO and Derek Flint will become president of solutions and CTO.
The Hiebers’ immediate plans for Exebridge include hiring additional engineers and deepening the strength of the sales team, under Michael’s leadership. They see great opportunity for growth in the public sector, where they each have extensive experience. They also plan to increase the company’s reach by focusing on solutions such as IoT, managed services and XaaS offerings and will expand into the supply chain and service provider markets.
Kimberly Hieber comes to Exebridge from LinkSpur, her technology firm that specializes in providing public sector solutions. Prior to that, she was an independent consultant working largely with pre-IPO companies. Before beginning her consulting company, she worked in enterprise and public sector sales at Cisco and Avaya.

Says Mr. Hieber, “My focus is to combine great people with technology to drive digitization and business transformation.” Before Cisco, Michael founded Mobilex, Inc., a wireless communications products company, in Menlo, CA and served as its president.
